Family-Friendly Travel: Orlando Style
by Samantha on February 23, 2012

I’ve been talking about my family trip to Orlando, Florida on this blog for some time and have finally gone and returned!
My goal in visiting the Sunshine State was to have a family-friendly vacation that would be enjoyed by the whole brood – kids, adults and all. We’re in the midst of the “February Blahs” here in Canada and any opportunity for sun and fun is always well received. We also have a “Family Day” statutory holiday on the third Monday in February every year, which is the perfect opportunity for a kid-friendly getaway, and that’s just what we did.
There were so many memories made and many pictures taken of our travels, that there are too many to share in one post. Over the next while, I will share more with you about our trip as well as what you, too can do when traveling to Orlando. DisneyWorld is great, but there are so many other things to do as well. Stay tuned for details both here on my blog, as well as over on my travel column at Chic Savvy Travels.
In the meantime, here are some pictures from our fun in the sun:

WorldQuest Orlando Resort is my personal favorite hotel in this area. It is perfect for families looking for a hotel near Disney in Orlando, Florida. http://www.worldquestorlando.com
