We all deal with lies from our kids, don’t we? After all, it’s part and parcel of being a parent: wading through what is or is not the truth, as told by our little ones. Kids’ lies are often some of the funniest and silliest things that we’ve ever heard, as well as the most infuriating. We’ve lived. We know that they’re lying! Yet they continue to try to pull the wool over our eyes.
Kids’ lies. They cover the gamut from the mundane to the ridiculous.
I recently wrote this blog post and article for the Huffington Post about kids’ lies. Of course, so many of us could relate as we had heard them all before. All I did was decipher what those pronouncements really meant, just in case any parents were unclear. Because you know that with kids, what you see – or hear – is not always what you get.
