The Second Hand Economy – Earning and Saving With Kijiji

Canadians are embracing the Second Hand Economy.

In its third annual Second Hand Economy Index, Kijiji revealed some surprising statistics:

  • $29 billion CAD was spent on second-hand goods in 2016
  • The average savings received in the second-hand economy was $843
  • The average earnings received in the second-hand economy was $1,037

These are just some of the facts that are proof points supporting our collective love of buying and selling gently-used goods.
